The Ona Camps by the renowned Olympic athlete Ona Carbonell ends with great success.
160 participants from 13 nationalities
The fifth edition of the Summer Camp, from July 21 to 27, and the second of the Elite Camp, from July 28 to August 1, ended with the presence of a total of 160 participants from around the world, with participants from 13 nationalities different: French, Canadian, American, Russian, Swedish, Belgian, Swiss, Italian, Singaporean, Slovak, Polish, Slovenian and Spanish.
In both camps, the girls were able to receive classes and advice from the hand of Ona Carbonell, who focused on the new generations of the world of synchronized swimming. We want to thank all the dedication and effort he put into this project after his recent arrival of the World Cup in Korea, where he won three medals that made the Spanish make history by winning 23 world medals, becoming the swimmer with more metals in the World Cup events .
In addition, in the Elite Camp we have the presence of two stars of synchronized swimming: Vlada Chigireva and Virginie Dedieu who taught different masterclasses. The assistance of these two athletes together with the collaboration of Ona Carbonell made the participation of all the young women unique and could make the most of both camps.
We want to thank all the families who have made all this possible, thanks for trusting us. On the other hand, thank all participants for their desire to learn, their good attitude and enthusiasm.
We would like to thank all our Staff for their effort and commitment and, in particular, highlight the work of Laura Maldonado and Laia Filella, coordinators of Isdin Summer Camp and Isdin Elite Camp, respectively.
Also thank the support of our main sponsor Isdin and all our collaborators Nike, Taymory, Mayo Clinics, CNS, PintyPlus and Pombell for all their dedication during both camps.
In a very short time we will return with news and announce the dates for the Ona Camps 2020.
