Staff #EliteCamp Ona Carbonell


The members of the Technical Staff of #EliteCamp who will work hand in hand with Ona Carbonell and Laia Filella so that all #EliteCamp participants have fun learning synchronized swimming.



Current member of the Spanish synchronized swimming team. In the Olympic Games of London 2012, in the modality of duo, next to Andrea Fuentes, she won the silver medal and in the modality by equipment, she obtained the one of bronze. A total of 20 medals in World Championships.


In the Olimpics Games in 2000, taking place in Sydney (Australia), she won the bronze medal in the parelles competition. She also won multiples medals in many international competitions, like the three gold ones in Barcelona in 2003, Montreal in 2005 and Melbourne in 2007 in individual competition.

Vlada Chigireva


In the Olympic Games of Rio de Janeiro 2016 she won the gold medal in the team competition. In addition, she has the title of “Honoured Master of Sport” in the Russian Federation.

Laia Filella


Swimming Trainer Synchronized by the RFEN. Elite athlete of the CN Kallipolis forming part of the Spanish national swimming team until 2003. Medalist in world and European championships as well as repeated champion of Spain. After her retirement as an athlete she worked in shows and musicals producing and interpreting aquatic choreography. She’s the foundator of the Sincro Club of La Nucía, being a technical director and coach for 6 years. Part of the technical staff in three editions of the Sincro Campus of Ona Carbonell. She is currently the national competition groups of Artistic Swimming’s coach in the Club Natació Sabadell, as well as the head coach of the children’s category of artistic swimming of the Swimming Federation of the Valencian Community.



Senior trainer after 12 years swimming for Real Canoe, of which half as part of the Center for Technification of Madrid has spent 10 years as a coach going through different clubs. She has represented Spain in the Comen Cup. She has managed to become a podium, not only as a swimmer, but also as a coach and has the experience of teaching different categories. From school to absolute. She has made different Campus, not only for the Spanish Federation, but also for those clubs that needed it the most. Without neglecting the technique, she brings new choreography to this sport, innovating and taking risks regardless of the category and level. She stands out for her closeness with work and thanks to having studied nutrition, she will teach us a fundamental aspect of sport, which is nutrition. She will also teach our girls how to get stronger with a boxing class.



Senior swimming swim coach, former swimmer of the 2009-2016 senior team, and current alevin and absolute coach of the Granollers Swimming Club.

Maria Gallego


Auxiliary Artistic Swimming Trainer. Currently a juvenile and infant fitness trainer and figures in A.D Sincro Retiro. Swimmer since she was 10 years old, with a scholarship for two years at the Community of Madrid Technification Center, being champion of Spain 7 times at an individual and team level in all categories. She also a National Judge in artistic swimming since 2018.

Muriel Escalé


Current Sports Director of the Artistic Swimming Section of the Club Natació Granollers and Technique of the Junior National Team. Nine years of experience as a trainer of different categories, Graduate in Physical Activity Sciences and Deporta and Superior Artistic Swimming Trainer by the RFEN. Several titles of Champions of Spain with Alevines, Children and Junior of Club Natació Granollers throughout the professional career.

Lorena Sanchez


Upper trainer of artistic swimming, qualified in physiotherapy and personal coach. Head coach of different clubs in Spain for 8 years.
